
Reto is Director of the Initiative and Director Emeritus of the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich and Director of the "Smart IP for Latin America Iniciative". He is full professor (ad personam) at the University of Zurich, honorary professor at the Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich and doctor honoris causa at the University of Buenos Aires.

Juliana is a PhD Professor at University of São Paulo Law School, teaching Intellectual Property. Has publications in IP matters. Is a member of ATRIP Association. She coordinates the Observatory in São Paulo.

Roxana is an Affiliated Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich. She coordinates the Southern Cone Observatory and integrates the Board of Directors of the "Smart IP for Latin America" Association. She is also an Associate Research Fellow at Latin American University in Social Sciences (FLACSO) and Research Fellow at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies in Industrial and Economic Law (CEIDIE), University of Buenos Aires (UBA).

Juan Camilo is Head of the Department of Private Law and the Specialisation in Commercial Law at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. He holds a PhD in Legal Sciences, a specialisation in Industrial Property, Copyright and New Technologies, and a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property.

Marcos is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). He holds a PhD in Law from UFPR and a Master’s degree in Law from the Universidade Clássica de Lisboa, Portugal. He is currently the principal coordinator of the Copyright Studies Group (GEDAI/UFPR), affiliated with the CNPq. He is an intellectual property consultant for UNESCO and WIPO.

Christian is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of the Most Holy Conception (UCSC), Chile. He is a lawyer and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He is an expert consultant on intellectual property and technology transfer.

Juan is an Affiliated Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich. He is a member of the Southern Cone Observatory. PhD student at the Faculty of Law, University of Buenos Aires.

Andrea holds a PhD in Law from the University of the Republic (Udelar), Uruguay; she is an Associate Professor in the Regulatory Affairs and Intellectual Property Section of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Faculty of Chemistry (Udelar) and a specialist in Science, Technology and Innovation Management.
Maria Alejandra is an Associate Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich. She is a member of the Southern Cone Observatory. She is a lawyer, holds a Master’s degree (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property and a PhD (Magna Cum Laude) in Technology and Innovation Management. She is a lecturer and researcher at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana.

Nicolás is an Affiliated Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich. He is a member of the Southern Cone Observatory. He holds a law degree from the University of Buenos Aires and a Master’s degree (LL.M.) in IP from the University of Turin.

Débora Nery is a postgraduate student and holds a law degree from the Largo São Francisco Law School, University of São Paulo. She is a project manager at the Administrative Council for Economic Defence (CADE).
